Post by bb1boy » Thu Apr 25, 2013 4:42 pm

Hi guys,

Has any of you tried one of these? They are about £100 cheaper than an original, so do you think I am safe to assume that these are sh!te?

Not tried, but of all things I'd be very hesitant when the words 'cheap' and 'snap off steering wheel' are combined!

Not tried that version, but tried this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/QUICK-RELEASE ... 5d3b297f6b

Ended up with more play in it than Nitin's arse

I think with those sort of things your best buying a proper branded one, it's not something you really want to come loose.

Haha as I thought. They're probably dangerous!

I've had one of the ones in the first link in my lude for 16 months now and no problems at all! And I'm a fussy bitch :)

I didn't realise it was 60mm deep! A slimline one would be better for me but not if it wears out and wobbles.
