But cloth seats (non-leather) are so cheap these days that you can just replace your leather seats with whole cloth seats. It will be hassle free.

Yep, can be done.
You'll ideally need an extra pair of hands if you're putting it back together, and a couple of decent pairs of pliers to undo the little metal hooks that hold it all together.

yeah I did it once to send it overseas never again it will still be quite a big package though buddy they don't fold well because of the stiched in stiffening rods
