For those with 4g track cars and bucket seats etc.

Do you have a roll cage?

Was told harnesses and no cage = dangerous

Cage and no harness = dangerous

you need one of these...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Harness-Eyebo ... 0973651041

one can be connected to the old seat belt point on the right of the drivers seat then this plate needs to be fitted on the left side.. so a hole needs drilling. then the other one or two rear straps (depending of 3 or 4 point harness) fits into the back seat belt mounting holes. you need the seat belts hook bolts 8-)

3 points and 4 points are safe without a cage. 5 point not so much as with a 3/4 you can slide down a bit.. with a 5 point you can't!!!

I just usually mount the rear straps of the harness to the rear seat seatbelt mounting points, and the front straps to the front seatbelt mounts.

Makes sense, no?

If you follow the guide lines for fitting a harness then crazys way has far to much angle on the rear points.

Best way by far is the tramroadmotor bar, I've fitted one into a 5g and its perfect, just need that plate welded in one side :-)

I have a 4g with 4ws and didnt really want to remove all of the gubbings out of the back. So the tramroad brace isn't really an option.
I was going to use the rear seatbelt points like crazy said. (this is what I did with my old lude)
but I was struggling to find a fixing point for the sides (I can't remember where they were fitted in my old lude)

@crazy: thats the easiest way but seats have a sendancy to collapse the backs with that much angle and can cause serious issues.

Imo you will need to drill or fabricate or buy to make it safe. I wouldn't bother with a harness without a cage though, imo.
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.
