Annoyingly i reset it again. Went for a drive and it hasnt returned.

Well the light kept comming on intermittently to the point it kept coming on.
Got a new airbag off eBay. Put it in the car today and the light is still on.

Looks like I'll just have to live with it and reset before mot test.

Oh yes and I realise it took over 2 years to get to a new airbag.

do you not have your old airbag to eliminate the airbag as an issue ?

I have 2 Civic Type R airbags now. If you mean getting a 5th gen airbag and plugging that in then I could try that.

Failing that I could try an s2000 airbag. Same wheel.

Hi, have you disconnected you battery lately or been anywhere near the gauge cluster? I had a similar problem in my Honda CRV .Just needed to reset the SRS .No more light!

Reset srs all the time and disconnected the battery but it returned.
However since swapping the new airbag over and then resetting the srs it's not returned.....yet.

Turns out disconnecting the battery does not erase the srs.

nope it doesnt i had the same problem a while ago
