I presume it comes on again after being re-setted?

Are you worried about it in a safety sense?

If not, I'd disconnect the airbag and try and find a suitable resistor to bridge the connector on the car with, to fool it into thinking all is well.

If you're worried about not having an airbag though, I imagine a new airbag is the way forward as I'm guessing your one has become defective for some reason :?

Its not so much that. I just want a working car. No hack jobs. SRS light is an MOT fail. Iv already asked my tester. Removing the light is just gay and 4th gennish.
Iv reset it twice and its back. Will check again of course.

As JJ said, shove a resistor in if your not fussed about it working for now.

Does sound like a new airbag tho, there's a few on eBay for around £100 tho...

Yeah I get what your saying about the MOT aspect, but the correct resistance across the poles of the connector in the loom should result in the SRS system functioning normally just without the driver air bag actually being live. If you want the system fully working though then it's not an ideal solution of course. Plus it's more dangerous!

My Momo Tuner steering wheel would bring up the SRS light but not now with the 2.8 ohm, 10 Watt resistor that I fitted across the plug.... 8-)
