I spose they'd have to be mashed, you'd never get whole ones through the oil filler hole..

There used to be a car auction at Reading cattle market. Someone I knew bought a six-cylinder Vauxhall that was running a bit rough. He diagnosed it as an ignition issue and got the price down, thinking the seller didn't have a clue. Two weeks later, the problem unsolved, he stripped the engine. There were only 5 pistons! The crank oil hole had been covered by a hose clip to keep the oil pressure from being too low.

Why go to all that trouble?

Brilliant touch, the jubilee clip!

Should've done that with my S2000 and put some JB Weld in the crankcase.

Yes. It is a pain having to look yourself in the mirror, isn't it?

How do these people do it? Surely it can't be fun going through life knowing that someone you've screwed over could pop up at any time. :?
