Anyone noticed the little diaganol banner that scrolls across the top corner of the avatar that says you are online is laid behind th avatar pic.
Looks like a simple CSS z-index thing - Kawa?

I have a nice way to add decoration ontop of pics or text areas by adding in empty <span> tags and adding a background png to this. So it's within the container and separate to the avatar pic within the container too.
W3C won't validate empty span tags, but a quick bit of Javascript I have in the head can add them to certain containers on page load.
Probably seen or used it, but thought I'd mention.
