So about more then a week's worth of driving..



In the week's worth of driving I averaged around 40mpg And it's nice to have a car that I can just park it anywhere and not having to worry about someone crash or dent it's panel, like you worry with your main car..

Only bad bits are that the exhaust is soooo freaking loud I haven't actually looked under the car to see if there are any silencers or what sort of exhaust it actually has But would adding a extra silencer quieten it down a bit?

I was thinking of doing that, But this is a Saloon (maybe it's different from the Hatchback shape) and has a custom exhaust on it so no one with a family car would want a loud exhaust.. I can always try though.

One thing I've noticed.

People give you a dirty look when you drive a Civic like indeed you're a chav with a loud exhaust.. And give you a nice (like a well deserved - classy) look when they see me driving the Prelude..

ahh I second that @mercutio thats one of reasons I have just sold my crappy ej9 hatch which was meant to be my winter replacement for the lude..
the chavvyness and its too slow and very uncivilised when compared with my bb4

Nitin I like your Civic although you can tell they are cheap in comparison with the Lude as Honda didn't even bother to make the alloys turn in the same direction on both sides (one side slashes the other side rips). Kind of like 4th gen blades Vs 5th gen blades, but on the same car

Not saying is dislike all Civics, or this one in particular, but dat stigma. Not that I'm doing any favours by perpetuating it though

But mid 20s male in an Civic hatch? You know there's a good chance they're a tosser.
