Steelies were twice the weight.
I love the steelies as much as these but I'm sick of rusty wheels. Tiniest curb marks rusts.

Nice wheels mate, are you leaving them bare or are you planning on putting some colour on the centres?

I was surprised to hear that was an issue actually

I think I'm just not at all a fan of the Borbets. The star spokes just look like a plastic hub-cap to me :?

Centres are silver. Hate multicoloured wheels.

Heavily waxed though. Prevent the polished aluminium cirroding.

They are
17x8.5 et13 front 225/55/17 101 Rainsport 3
17x10 et19 rear 235/55/17 102 Rainsport 3.

Well it's a sad end to this superb vehicle.

Last Thursday a Smart FourTwo went into the back of my van at a junction at less than 10mph.

This was the outcome.

Tailgate is gone, bumpers misplaced, rear bumper support gone, spare wheel pushed back 1". Curved the rear of the chassis.

Van today has been confirmed a total loss due to its mileage, age and value.

And the smart car........are you ready.....

Nothing.

It's a shame. This van has been excellent. 137000miles and it's been great. Took out to Holland and back. Drive through a flood and flooded the engine....still worked.

In the mean time I have had to borrow one of Chipsaway head office spare vans. Until my new van arrives.
It's so slow....

I ordered my new t6 way back in March. Because the vans are so popular and the euro 6 engine changeover I won't get it until September/October so it will be a 66 plate.

But I went all out on the new van. Full highline 150ps 6 speed euro 6 with led headlights. Getting bilstein b14 suspension, h&r roll bars, same 19" 3sdm alloys, alcantara and leather seats and a full audio install and an unsilenced milltek exhaust.

Good that you can get a kitted out loan van so you can carry on trading 8-)
Looks boring in silver though - white looks better.

Are you getting paid out for the kit on your old van, or buying back, stripping and selling bits?
