When I first bought the car:
1.8 16v about 130bhp, and like a polo with mk2 golf engine, so engine is good strong rest of car is abit flimsy like pedal boxes tend to snap on these, stupid vacum central locking which I had to mess about with
I have replaced brakes/discs all round with mintex, and rear bearings with that, silly design top mounts and rocker gasket, coil pack went (cheap ebay one)
rims were quite bad so powder coated them white:
had to change boot lid, due to some rust etc.. but gainied a rear wiper
12 months mot and here she is:
maybe sell it in a few months or keep as a run around store the lude for a bit
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

yeah its not bad actually nice pull from the engine, doing a engine mount soon tho as lot of vibration.
its a big engine in small car which is what I was looking for, although I would say a civic is better to drive..
and getting back in the prelude, you really apprciate it more.
still got your civic rowan although not much left on it, has deffo come in handy for spares

Had one of these, but the newer marque (not the newest, just one up from this one) as my first car. Love them Thinking of buying one for my girlfriends first car/as a runabout. Really cheap to keep! Only had a little 1.4 engine but it was perfect for its size.
Strangest thing about it (not sure if its on this one as well) the passenger side wing mirror was smaller than the drivers side one Looked like Nemo.
