Can't take a good picture to show you all, how beautiful they are with this colour and semi matte finish ;)

And yes the doors are at my corridor at home, because my garage isn't so big ;)

Make sure you get you mix of matting agent and lacquer correct each time.

A slight bit more or less of the additive changes the color completely.

You if it's too Matt one cured you cab polish it with a light polishing pad to bring back some satin finish.

Epic work so far.

Thank you for taking your time :D

Yes I am aware of that, and scared is well, because I need to do in steps, my garage is small and I need to do a little bit of play in what to do first ;)

Thank you for the idea of light polishing in case if something goes to matt :D

;)

EDIT: I just read one more time, and I am not using matt agent but a lacquer that is semi gloss already :D

From MAxMeyer I have 7050 that means semi gloss, and the 7010 lacquer is matt ;)

I didn't update this topic for ages, I know.

As I divorced from my ex 2 years ago basically I just finished this car with a complete respray, just to give it to him...sad I know, as I was spending hours around it with the thought I would never drive it again, but I couldn't left it half a way as I knew it would end at the scrapyard, and after one year restoring it, I would rather finish it and see it back to the road, even not with me, than knowing this coupe life would end. 8-)

Here is after sprayed and back to the road

Pictures got some weird quality, might be the site I used to upload them.

And that's it, mission complete, another Happy Honda on the road, free (for now) from the scrapyard, as it was the destiny when I bought it! 8-)

Hope you all like :D

Great that you got it finished well done!
Shame you don't get to enjoy the fruits of your labour though :|

So now is a time for a Prelude saving mission. Do you have something new in mind?
