New Family CR-V

Post by jdmdanbb6bb4 » Mon Jul 18, 2016 1:40 am

Well this is the reason why my 2 Prelude are now in a huge stop for any parts to go in the BB6 or BB4 to keep updates on the project. :D http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/profile ... 11401.html

This was a surprise for my GF because she didnt knew that i had this plan on buying her a CR-V

Even though that everyday that we saw a CR-V on the road i did make fun of her, becasue she really love the CR-V and her eyes pop out  when she was watching the car passing by and was telling me that one day she was going to have to buy one.

So these CR-V RD1 4WD, is not in good shape as i tought, but i knew since the start that any car bought in auction in the US will have something to be work on and here the Guatemala Import Car Guys usually have bad repair shops :x :x

So this CR-V has the following list of parts that i need to take care:
The Radiator Support really bad repair do to a lousy repair. -- So a New a Radiator Support i will need to buy
The Power Window Switch dosent work propely on the Driver Side on the Auto Switch. --- New/Used JDM RD1 Power Window Switch with the Power Folding Mirrors i will buy.
The Door Lock dosent work at all. --- WIll buy a New Door Lock Actuator

And the last modification will be to make it a CR-Vtec using a B16 Head.
still have to do some research in how to make it work with the Automatic Tranny and the 4WD, have check on the CR-V forums and saw that some very some years ago someone did it. but will have to check to see the information.

What ECU was used, if it had some Chip to have the Vtec work fine with no problem. But this will a future modification to do :D

H10ndr 's mate knows all about vtec head conversions on these :D

Those are pretty subtle bling wheels you have planned - interested to see what they look like on it!
