Been looking for better part of 4 months for one and saving and trying to save and sell Lude 2 and save more to make up not selling the Lude  and at last i came across this example and settled on it after some negotiating.

I have it just over a month now and it has the grace of been the new weekender and still so much to get used to as it is my first proper performance car as in slow down or you will kill yourself performance car

Been forced induction before with an old 1988 Toyota Soarer but that was a different kettle of fish.

Silver Prelude had to go to free up some extra funds sadly but i don't think i could have afforded 3 road running cars as much as i'd love to.

So it's an Evo 8 or VIII as some say,Gsr model,i had hoped for an MR but the wait would have been painful and i m not a great saver, great spender though!

Amazing cars these, never been in one before and the only other proper drive in a turbo quick car was a mates old wrx ages ago so there has been alot of grins in the last few weeks.

Came with a nice few bolt-ons and and Work wheels

It has proved however what a good car the Prelude is in it's form particularly the Bb4 and i expected to be flabbergasted at it's performance which it does delivery constantly and in ambundance but the prelude is no slacker by any means.

Also look how low the Prelude sits on stock suspension compared to the Evo on coilovers,

No fights in the garage yet

Lo
Very nice
I must admit I like Preludes because they are luvly and low compared to boring modern motors 8-)
Cheers ;)

Well after getting married during Irish summertime back home not so long ago it was lets just say put nicely that when the wedding happens the car upgrade will follow

Till debt do us part!

Regret a bit not getting one sooner tbh, wanted to stay with 4cyl as we have tons of other routes over here and never a big fan of Subaru's,i didn't even have a second car choice so it made it harder to find one with all the right stuff and not too far away as alot of them are a day at least driving.

Still pretty rare over here and they can be imported as they were not all released here up to the Evo 9 i think.

Time to get on with finishing off the Prelude now too with whole kit needing spraying from Sebring Silver and still got the Jun headers sitting there to be fitted, hoping before Xmas but i'm feeling motivated.

Hope your well Simon, haven't been on her as much the last few months, some catch up to do ;)

When you get from one and in to the other it's so different with the obvious bits but when you are on that home stretch or your weekend run road and you drop to second and catch the Vtec or turbo through to redline and same through 3rd they both bring that response you want and you keep it till you shouldn't while no one is looking but it's too good to change up just yet they both do it for me anyway.

Alarms turbo timers and blow off valves all the stuff i've been living without for years some welcomed some not so.
