Got it back

Post by indigolemon » Thu Jun 07, 2018 10:52 am

Yep, got her back with thanks to 3rd gen steve and vanzep :)

Got her to my mechanics and had a good look around, the 'structural' damage they were so concerned about is a dent in the aluminium support bracket for the radiators

Have removed the bonnet poppers, bent the hinges back to something resembling normal, and cable tied a new number plate on the front so she can be driven again. Currently trying to sort a donor car in the same colour with a burst engine, should find out about that today - and she's into the bodyshop on the 27th for three days to get the bumper scuffs sorted, new hinges, and the rear arches checked over (it is a Honda after all)

Cat C (now Cat S it seems) - which is annoying, but liveable.

Gave it a wash, fitted the number plate more securely. Here she is as of 5pm today.
