So over the various months i have taken this to as many shows as possible. Both Mimms Santa pod and Mimms Three sisters and taken it to the track as well as Japfest 1 with torque GT and Japfest 2 at Donnington and SImply Jap Beaulieu. Oh and Speed machine representing Liberty Walk.

So picture whore from various shows.

Mimms Three Sisters where i enjoyed some track time. Epic track for this car.

Next up was Speed Machine at SIlverstone on the Liberty Walk Boulevard. The S660 stood well next to the GTRS and the Aventador. Unfortunately the S660 is not match to the straight through exhausts all these car had, their engine sizes and power when we went on track and did a parade lap.

Then to Japfest Donnington. 15 mins from my house. Fantastic track. Shame i hit the 84mph speed limiter 3 times per lap. That shall be removed.

I recently went to Beauliei but forgot the photos. I was in Bournemouth anyway so i took some sea pics.

This was a good shot. My shot of the professional shot

And how it ended up.

And in the August edition of the Magazine. They spelt my name completely wrong. Never mind.

Onto some more modifications.

A simple of. A baffled, filter oil catch can. Blue PCV valve to the catch can which is hidden at the back near the exhaust and back to the plastic intake manifold.

Back in early June i put a huge HKS/Spoon parts order with Torque GT and this week in August they finally arrived so ill go through these one by one as i install them over the next several weeks.
Image
Image

First up the HKS flash editor. Very simple. It flashed the ECU with a HKS remap, removes the speed limiter and store the stock ECU data on the flash editor. The remap is more of a driveability remap and but gives a few more hp but more importantly it smoothens the power curve and holder power longer.
Top speed it now 110mph. Around 70bhp and 80lbft. It plugs into the OBD2 port, i also installed HKS M45HL one stage colder spark plugs as recommended by HKS. THis is all in preparation for the GT100R uprated turbo kit that ill do another time once i have saved my pennies.

Spoon Steering stiff plates.
I didnt get a picture of the items but my ginger cat is sniffing them in the above picture. They are a pair of small triangular boomerang shaped high tensile pressed steel supports. The stock S660 steering gearbox is only attached the the subframe via 2 bolts so upon hard cornering they can move and transmit and uneven steering response. The Spoon steering stiff plate take those simple 2 bolts and turns them into a full 4 support and bolts direct to the chassis. It might be a placibo but steering on hard corners and roundabouts feels more natural and even. Maybe less movement but hard to say.
It was a pain to install. So tight on that passenger side.

You use their Rigid color with copper grease.

Right lets update this. Much happened since last update.

January 2020 - HKS GT100R turno upgrade and intake/intercooler ducting upgrade and Spoon N1 exhaust

Firstly the exhaust. The Blitz Nur Spec C exhaust that i have on there now is louder than stock but only by 4bd. Stock is 85bd, Blitz is 89db apparently, Either way its quiet and i want it louder. The Spoon N1 is 91db and boy does it look good, its loud and cheap at £600 compared to £900 for the Blitz. Plus its much bigger, POWER. I had to use a tailpipe extention as the Liberty walk bumper hides it like it did with the Blitz exhaust. The tail pipe matches the N1s rolled tip extactly. Sounds sooooooo good.

So the stock intake for the mid engined are 2 ducts at the bottom behind the doors and 2 ducts behinds the side window at head height. The head height ducts go direct to the air intake and intercooler but the lower ducts dont do much. Lets change that.
Image
Image
Image

This is how the stock setup is. No ducting, just an open panel that air passes through to the air intake.
Image
Image
Image

This is the intercooler side. Im using a backyard special intercooler duct. This creates a duct from the lower intake and shares it with the stock upper intake ducting. More cooling.
Image
Image
Image

Duct fitted on the intake side and fed through to blow on the underside of the air intake filter.

Then onto fitting the HKS GT100R turbo kit. This is an uprated turbo, uprated fuel pump and external fuel pressure regulator and and a dedicated map for the HKS flash editor. It promises 100bhp and 100lbft. I also installed a HKS catalytic converter, its a sports cat and much more free flowing and gives around 3db more noise.
Image

Install was fairly straight forward and took a whole day. I then took it to Dynodaze to see how the map is performing. No pictures but the dyno read 90bhp and 100lbft. Disappointing but it did show a very rich fuel mixture at 6-7.5krpm which felt a little flat. In hind sight the dyno daze dyno was reading low. More on this later when it gets properly custom remapped.

May 2020 - Back yard special intercooler upgrade and HKS dry carbon engine cover. PORN

The BYS intercooler is about 220% bigger than the core size of the stock unit. So this should allow more cooling now im running more power.
Plus a HKS engine cover for good measure. Just so you know how expenive an uprated intercooler is for the s660. THis was £800 imported and its still tiny.
