Virago 750 trike - Kaede

Well I have picked up a new bike to convert to a trike. It's a 1985 Yamaha Virago XV750, Canadian import. As its a Canadian import Japanese bike, I've given her the name Kaede. It's Japanese for maple, and also the name of the female lead character from my favourite anime, Elfen Lied.

The plan is to do it as a late 70's style chopper trike, I already have a pair of gold, black and polished 13" allycats that will really suit the rear end, and I'm hoping I can reuse the original trike swing arm from the Divvy trike.

Enough talk, time for photos!

That looks wicked!

I'd be tempted to just keep it as is, and ride around looking awesome on it 8-)

Got a gammy left leg do can't guarantee being able to hold a bike up. Don't classify for taking a disabled bike licence test so I stick with trikes.

Do you think that seat would fit on my fireblade? Id like to be able to go more than 50 miles without needing a team of doctors to help me walk again :x

This looks a little more 'Dom' to me, should make for a nice trike conversion. 8)
