The Stagea

Post by Duo » Tue Feb 07, 2012 1:15 pm

As my lude is sadly off the road for now (slowly getting back to road worthy but bushes next, monies and time are not permitting at the moment and the old ones are too shot to get through an MOT) I'm driving a nice family friendly estate in the form of a Nissan Stagea.

Ok so you may never have heard of them or think they're cool etc etc but they are quick as and fairly easy to find engine parts for. The basic specs, I have a rare RS Four S meaning factory manual, the chassis is essentially R34 Skyline and so os the running gear. Rear diff internally is an R200 diff with longer final drive but the drive shafts are about 4" longer than a Skyline. Engine is the RB25 DET Neo, variable timing on the head and apparently preffered over RB26 heads as they flow better. Also equipped with HICAS 4ws and ATESSA 4wd although the 4wd is different to an R34 in that it stays rwd until the rear wheels loose grip or it would be more efficient to use 4wd. Not a bad motor.

From Japan mine already has coilovers in the form of Tein's and 350Z 18" alloys, also got a Blitz R-FIT fuel piggyback to tinker with fueling, also got a HKS Super Power mushroom filter and SARD sports cat fitted to a Kakimoto N1 cat-back exhaust.

Nothing like trouncing "faster" or "better" cars hehehe and great for fitting all kinds of stuff in including kids and all the stuff you need to go on holiday. Will get a few pics up and some more info if I can remember it and have time later

Well that's all I have access to!!

I think Chris' first Stagea was white, but that went to automotive heaven and this is its replacement.
