I can reset the 4ws as nitins formula but it does not stay. 1 or 2 days the light is back on. I have just changed rear break discs and pads but ..... I reckon the calipers are locking and so when I take off it is messing with some sensor, any thoughts ???

Yup pull the codes and see what is says. Severely sticking calipers may put the light on. I once pulled away with my hand brake on which cause the 4WS to trip out.

Hi I know this is probably a old post but I've tried to do this reset numerous times over the last few days on my 4g but it's not working I keep getting the light flash twice then a five second gap and then it flashes like mad for 5/6 seconds I was wondering if there was anyone in the Coventry/Warwickshir area who could show me how to do this as I'm at my wits end with it.
Thanks Steve
Ps I'm new to the site.

All the info on how to get fault codes and what they mean, is in the service manual.
You can download it for free from here :D

Thank you for this post nitin - just done it, which cleared the light, and saved ourselves a pile of £££s! Gotta love this forum.

My atts light came on this evening. I have removed the fuse and cleared the codes and the light is out. It hasn’t come back on. However I wanted to do the paper clips test but my blue connector has 3 wires instead of the 2. Any ideas on bridging it? What 2 pins do I use?
