The dealer I bought this off said that the previous owner had disconnected the 4ws because his house had "high kerbs". Yeah right, more like the 4ws was broke and he was scared about the costs. Good news is I bought it and did Nitin's magic formula and its now works fine !

people don't understand the 4ws and most garages think its some black magic trickery that's going to cost lots and lots of time and money to fix and so don't want to get involved

during the last 48 hours I have reset the 4ws twice, I think it has been inactive for so long it needs to loosen up

I went to a Honda garage and the mechanic had never seen the 4ws. He looked in his computer and it costs 3500€ to replace it. That's 2797£ :o
Mine is still good, no fault lights. It just squeals a bit.

Squealing a bit can only be the rack really.

Can I just get round to complimenting you on your excellent signature, Sven? Flatulent VTEC unicorns FTW.
