the glass just pulls off from two ball headed connectors on back, its easy to take off but slightly tricky to pop back in, I need to do this too at some point as my mirror cover needs resprayed.

If you break the mirror I can cut you a new one.

Can't remember if there's a rubber trim that goes around it or not though?

Thanks, although I don't want to break it really its good to know I have a back up if I need it.

I know its frowned upon but I am planning on wrapping mine, I tried wrapping them whole whilst still on the car twice and that went as well as halal pork. Figuring I should take the damned things off cause just wrapping the cap might look a bit poo.....

What colour is your car? Think it would look smart colour depending. There is a hard plastic trim that encases the mirror and for the life of me I couldn't get the new piece into it so I glued it on top of old cracked one haha. If anyone knows what the magic trick is please tell.
