passenger door making snapping noises

So my passenger door has started making these snapping noises at stop 1 and 2, more noticeable at 1 but very annoying and shameful when m'lady exits the steed of silverness, anyone know what this might be? I have taken the door card off and thrust it back and forth but cannot see what its catching on....assistance is required in figuring out my latest mystery..

Sounds like the check strap to me which is the small metal bar in the door shut between the hinges

Yep, check strap. Try greasing it as a first one, but it's probably wear in the scroll pin where it fixes to the A pillar, so you'll probably need to replace the strap and pin.

I see and as parts are elusive for the lude, pray tell were i might find a new set?
