Low idle like this can be sorted by adjusting the idle.

I have since been told that I need to rise my base idle by adjusting the screw. I know that there is a specific set procedure for this that I will have to find.

I had this on the civic when the idle control valve wasn't connected right. Obviously you won't have this issue but it could be your idle control on it's way??

Yeah I spoke to Rich and he said the IACV could probably use a little assistance. I'll adjust the base idle first. If it doesn't sort it I think I have a few IACV's knocking about spare.
I might even set it a little higher as a higher idle will pump more oil around and help cool the car.
