Question: Does the 5th gen have a pollen filter and if so where is it located??

I think it is only US Ludes that have them.

whipped the glove box out and loe and behold a plastic cover hiding a pair of panel filters.

i pulled them out and they are only the bloody originals dated wk10/1996 and my Christ, the debris that fell out of the slot, like black soot and flies and leaves, yuk

so here is one picture.

you 5th genners need to check your filters.

oh and now my fan works a treat. although still need to fill the filters cages with new filters.
when it came to getting a filter, i couldnt get one as being jdm no info was at my parts supplier, honda were too expensive. so i looked through the boxes of filters and found some of similar size, cut them to shape and re fitted the edges to seal in the frames.
