Lude Generation

Hey guys,

Just a quick one, I've got a dead dizzy that wasn't producing a spark to start the car and an Alternator that died on me at japfest.

I've been told these can be repaired/refurbished? Is this true? If so is it worth doing, a lot hassle etc?

Dizzys are straightforward to strip.

No spark is often the coil &/or ignition amp.

Fortunately a new pattern coil is ~£25. Not sure if you can buy amps new but fortunately most D/B/H series dizzys contain interchangeable bits...

The alternator is fairly simple, I did post a thread about a year ago but on my phone at the mo.
