or you could try this stuff!!

we use it at work you can use a sander on the headlamp 500grit disks
two coats and absolutely brand new headlamps

not sure how much it costs tho probably not cheap

Ratty get yourself some of this if your offering light refurbs it really is the dogs bollocks and a kit will do, id guess ,over 50 headlamps.

No need, im doing this one set because the customer asked for it and iv done my own headlights with this method and the only cost is sanding discs and got it perfect. But the 3k light lacquer looks like the OEM stuff but better,

I saw a guy in a body shop do a pair of headlights in less than five minutes!!
After masking up, he got his power sander and sanded the headlights down using two different grit sand discs. When the headlights were nice and smooth and they turned opaque, all he did was spray on the lacquer/clear-coat and hey presto they came up like new!!

yar a quick coat of 2k sorts out the oxidisation without the need to polish the lense back from about 1500g. done many a front light like that now. most recent was the transit. year later it looks better than the new one next to it. lol..

So you'd say polishing up the plastic first is unnecessary?? ..that might just spur me on to do mine!
