Tools where to buy and where to find.

Post by sol-lude » Sat Jun 10, 2017 9:48 am

Like most men and some women...we love tools even just to have tools even if you don't need them there and then you know at some point it will come in handy.

I know people do reviews on here of different items etc and most know where to buy and get their tools however I thought it would be good to start a thread where we can tie in some tools etc to help those on their projects of where to find specific tools.

I'm going to kick it off with something I saw last night.

Drill bits that will drill multiple different materials without having to change the drill bit...whats even better they come with a 10 year guarantee. Watched the guy last night go through metal brake disk into masonry then tilt the drill at an angle through the disk. Then take the same drill bit and then take same drill bit and then drill a bathroom tile and then a glass ashtray with the same perfect cut.

Found sets on eBay :

No problem guys I personally think they are an absolute steal for 40 quid and a 10 year guarantee I don't think anyone can complain at that.

I have these, bought them at Motorcycle Live last year.
They don't drill anything without serious pressure due to the way they cut and the sizes are 0.5mm bigger than stated so you have to use the next smallest size. That said, they will drill very hard tiles without blunting.
They are however very useful if say you were drilling through a timber stud - into a concrete floor for fixing without changing the bit.
