These plates are meant to stop air from going up the front of the rad and into the space under the bonnet, not stopping air from going in-between the bumper and bonnet, to aid cooling.

Yeah, I thought that rubber strip stops air going in that way.. obviously I'm wrong haha

nope your still thinking about the air going between the bonnet and the bumper this stops the air that goes in through the opening in the bumper from going over the top of the rad support and across the top of the engine

It is to stop the air coming up from the radiator intake behind the seal. I should direct the air straight through the rad and yes it is much better to look at, rest cups of tea and spanners on.

I havent done anything with the plates for a long time but I do need batches of 10 to make up an order. I can get them in red silver black or blue. If I get 10 names down I will submit an order, These are going to cost around £45 each.
