Hello

I am looking for help to figure out which lower ball joint fit 4th gen H22.
I knew all this stuff very well 10 yeas ago and changed lower and upper ball joints couple times, but just can't remember now :) I checked multiple catalogues, but their provided information conflicts a bit.

Things I think I know for sure:
* There is a Honda part number for 5th gen lower ball joint, but not for 4th gen.
* Front and rear lower ball joints are the same. This applies to 4th gen and 5th gen.

Could somebody please confirm or deny:
* Are 2.0, 2.2, 2.3 4th gen lower ball joints identical? As I recall, yes
* Are 5th gen lower ball joints identical to 4th gen? I think they are not.

Maybe somebody has a removed 4th gen lower ball joint and could measure cone and the pressed in part diameters?
If you have any brand like Ruville, 555, TRW or other part code that you know for sure fits, please share.

Thank you :)

All 4g are the same, yes.

For the 5th and standard 5th gen, they were never available individually from Honda (only as a complete knuckle assembly).
The only ball joints listed by Honda for the 5th gen prelude, are for the Type-S - and that had a twin balljoint setup on the front knuckle, rather than single setup (and there are 2 different balljoints, so no idea if one does map across to 4g or not).

As Drax has said, plenty of people on here have used langdon4x4 for these, for a long time - comes well recommended.
