Gearbox swap guide?

Have any of you fine gents got any kind of guide for doing a gearbox swap?
I have just acquired an M2B4 box for the track car to replace the stock M2F5 but can't find much specific info on doing the swap?
Have done a few VW boxes in the past but not familiar with Honda boxes...
Bit of a newb question but how do the driveshafts come out? Does all the gearbox oil drain out when I remove them?
Any pics of drain/fill points?
Help gratefully appreciated to make it as painless as possible

No guide, but can give you some info!
Drain and fill bolts are both on the drivers side. You can get to them from the wheel arch. The drain bolt has a 1/4 inch drive hole in it, the fill bolt is above and to the left slightly (and the same 17mm fitment as the main sump bolt - you can even use the same washers). There should be around 2 litres of MTF in the box. The holes the driveshafts push into are normally high enough you can swap shafts without loosing too much MTF, but if you're taking the box off, I'd deffo drain it first or you'll have a huge mess to clean up! Removing the driveshafts should just involve a lot of pulling, wiggling and potentially some sort of prying tool.

Get a copy of the service manual if you havent already. It will tell you what bits need replacing when you rebuild eg new set rings for the shafts... And the exact location of the drain and fill bolts on the gear box. Slacken these on your new box before you fit it

The only problem i had when taking a M2F5 box out was i forgot to remove the clutch stiffener plate - which is a small crescent shape pressed steel plate that sits right underneath the flywheel end of the box and is held on by three small bolts - easy to overlook this like i did - took me about an hour to figure it out
Mind u i was lifting the box out from the top of the engine bay which wasnt too bad as the gearboxes only wieght about 35 kilos so not very heavy like youd think. Just be careful when removing the driveshafts as you dont want to split any of the boots or discnnect the cv joint as theyre pretty messy and sometimes fiddly to put back together. All i can say is good luck and go for it
