Doesn't say anything about 4ws. Have been doing a lot of research into this and apparently lowering the, vehicle using coilovers can cause the 4ws sensors to have a heart attack. Is there a limit to how low you can go or will you just need to reset them using a diag tool? Thanks for your time.

There is no issue with 4WS either with coilovers or being lowered at a sensible height. The only issue the 4WS poses is when the car is excessively lowered, the rear wheels will rub.

Lots of guys on here run lowered 4ws 4g and 5g's without problem.
Where did you read about "4ws sensors" having a heart attack due to lowering? The only "4ws sensors" are on the steering rack and the steering column. They won't have a clue that the car is lowered or not.

It gets a feed from the abs ecu, yep.
They're not "4ws sensors" though :geek: (and they still don't know if the car is lowered!)

Thank you so much guys. Have been debating on fitting these for such a long time but heard terrible stories from people saying about issues with the 4ws, but now I'm looking forward to installing them. Any ideas on a good make? Thanks again Curt
