Dobbs It took me about 2 days per arch just to do the fabrication and prep it for the bodywork, then another 2 days to do the bodywork, final glaze and primer. The metal prep I use is made by a company named MARHYDE and the product is called "ONE STEP", this product is applied by hand or brush and once it's on and has dried there is no need to remove it, it also attacks rust and keeps it from spreading. Very good product i've used it for years, now DuPont makes a similar product and it's called "METAL PREP" but cost about 3 times as much but works well none the less.Dobbs wrote:Awesome!
How long did each rear arch take to do?
I'm curious about the metal prep conditioner you mentioned - how do you apply and later remove it and what brand do you use?
Dobbs.

Wow really Bri, Thanks. Well I'll make sure to find some more pictures and go more into details of all the materials that are being used as well as the step by step pictures. I will continue to add more and more information as I can to make this modification as easy as possible for everyone. For those of you that have no access to a welder there is a way to achieve this modification as well using "3M Panel Bond", I'll be posting that process as well. Glad to be apart of this group and look forward to chatting with all of you.
