It should be noted that Step 4 may be a a difficult process and we would recommend contacting a support group to assist in resisting temptation. Signing in as a guest or under a pseudonym will only end in tears before bedtime and you will regret your inability to let go. A support group may be able to appoint you a "leaving buddy", someone you can ring 24hrs a day/7days a week to talk to should you find it difficult to resist signing back in to read what has been said about you and to see if any one is actually missing you.

Under no circumstances must you make a post expressing your intentions of leaving the forum or make a public request to delete your account.
