Alternator removal guide 4th gen

Another easy job, but still, hopefully will help someone.

Here is the alternator

First thing to do is disconnect the negative and positive battery terminals in that order.

Next, unclip the 5 pin connector (circled in green) and unbolt and remove the ground (circled in red)
then crack the bolts circled in blue. the one on the right is the one to tighted to pull the alternator up and tighten the belt.
remove both bolts and the little plate.

Next remove the bolt that holds the alternator in place (circled in green), keep in mind the bit that the long bolt you adjust the alternator with fits on this bolt. then loosen the hinge bolt (circled in blue)

The alternator will swing down once the bolt is loosened, so you can pull the belt off.

Lastly remove the bolt that acts as a hinge at the top of the alternator. (circled in blue)

Fitting it just a reversal, note that the adjustment bit faces inwards like so

Thanks, i know all this stuff if pretty simple and in the manual, but guides like this really helped me when i first started out with fixing my own cars.
