I take it the 4ws steering plug is a completely different thing? I've found the SRS plug but can't locate the 4WS plug, both lights came on after I swapped out my steering wheel, forgot to plug the airbag in  unplugged everything and hooked the airbag up now just needa get rid of the SRS and 4WS lights, should i do the SRS one first?

check out the 4ws reset thread, its passenger side remove the carpet panel thing & blue plug

SRS is under the steering wheel, from memory yellow plug?

if 4ws light is not going out, did you file the notch for the sensor on the steering column?

the plug is there u might have to dig around some wire's

been years so bit vague, but I think SRS has its own holder like the 4ws

the 4ws is usually plugged into blue holder thing with another 3 pin plug.. don't short the 3pin you will blow a fuse

if you look under the dash near the steering wheel you will see it buddy its got the yellow wire and goes into a holder make sure you use conductive wire when you do it and dont give up if it doesnt work first time

Finally attempted this the other day.

I had removed the bulb to get through my MOT and forgot about the reset :?

Was pretty tricky but it worked :D

Hardest bit was finding the plug. Only because it was raining and I was trying to do it completely inside the car

Anyway, I couldn't find a pic anywhere on the Web except for LHD versions so I took one to help others.

Not the best quality, but if you are sitting on the driver's seat, remove the large panel under the steering wheel ,no screws, and its the yellow plug that looks in line with the accelerator pedal.

I have tried this method many times now without success, suggesting there is a fault somewhere else, any ideas where I should start looking?
