£45 for set of fronts.

For the amount I use the car, I couldn't justify the £120 for DS2500's or the £180 for Carbotech's!!

So I've just got home from collecting the car from Performance Autoworks where Rich has worked his magic. The list of work includes:

New timing belt, including water pump, tensioner and pulleys.
Check and adjust valve clearances.
New balance shaft belt, pulley and oil seal retainer.
New CV gaiter.
Remove, regrease and refit both inner CV gaiters.
Change engine oil.
Change gearbox oil.
Secure exhaust heats held which was rattling.
Balance front wheels.
Tighten up all rear suspension components.
Tighten loose bolt on coilover to cure knocking noise.

Engine now runs like new, gear change is smooth, and it handles the best I've ever felt it! I am over the moon with the car, all the annoying little niggles that had developed have gone and it's just brilliant!! :D :D :D

There are still a few things that need replacing and adjusting, but I couldn't afford those at the moment, so the fact that the car has potential to feel even better is fantastic!!

Many many thanks to Rich and his magic hands, I will not take my car anywhere else!!

Adam, very happy for you that you got your car sorted before that water pump went kaboom. I haven't driven my car for ages so can't wait till its got the paw treatment.
