I shall be too old to fit your cage by the time you get your furry arse down here....
You are over complicating things.....
And my mrs is going to teach phil how to weld while bailey fits your engine and I make coffee and fetch the dinner.

It's more my s300 ecu is already setup for specific injectors on obd2 and is then going to run through obd1 wiring instead.
Like I said, it could be straight forward and I'm just over complicating it. Will need a h2b kit and h22 teg engine mounts tho

Obviously I wasn't dissing the H22!
just thought there were plenty more (cheap) tuning options for the engine already in the teg and it's lighter so made more sense in that car?
If the key thing is sticking with an H22, then I actually ask a different question - why not get another lude instead of a teg?!

Guess I wana mix it up a bit, my last 3 cars have been ludes and I was thinking of selling anyway.
Also, a dc2 with 228 bhp and 174 lb/ft would sell for how much? The motor isn't going to weigh that much more, it's still an alloy block.
Newkid, awesome news! You 100% on that?
P.s. a standard teg is 300kgs lighter than a lude

Sweet!
The ecu is a civic ecu with the s300 chip so should plug in fine. It's the injectors are the main concern, I'm sure obd1 injectors run differently to obd2 and I don't wana have to retune the ecu just for a change of injectors

Yeah, but don't obd1 ludes have resistor packs in which obd2 doesn't? Will the same apply for the teg?

Ok so I am over complicating it
I was thinking there would be an issue with the loom.
So, this is looking like a very real possibility ATM

How have I missed all this!
Sorry to see your accident Alex, never a nice situation to be in.
But looks like you're keeping your head up and looking for ideas on something new, fair play. Most of us are thinking, no stick with a lude, but you can't go wrong with a Teg either, especially a modified H22'd Teg. Phil mentioned a couple of pages back about a pdf of the Honda Swaps book - I have it, PM me your email address and I'll ping it over. It's an old book now and doesn't (as far as I remember) include the H2B swaps only standard H22 swaps, but a good read all the same.
Good luck with your plans though.

but h22 teg is the way I would go if mine was ever written off
to keep the engine, but have a change in chassis as Ive had 3 ludes already
