ATTS does not function in my S. This is like a being a man, but your gentleman's sausage has been cut off
One of the reasons it does not work, is that the car is on uneven tyre profiles from front to back. One of the fronts is almost at the legal limit and the wheels i am running at the moment came on the car, and were made by the same company that put things into Christmas crackers, apparently! The make is Binno, and that is exactly where they belong
So my dilemma was, keep the ghastly wheels (18's) and shell out for 2 new tyres, i hate replacing one, or, get rid of the wheels. Easy choice
I had picked up a set of Work Meister S2R's and had them refurbed, but with Winter closing in i was loathed to fit them, as they are epic

, but i also couldn't afford a new set of high performance tyres, which is the route i want to take with them.
So, next option was to refurb the other set of wheels i had, which were 16's. The plan was to do the refurb myself, get some tyres and run these over the winter.
Here is how the wheels started off:
As you can see, the wheels were corroding. Didn't want to get these professionally done, no cash!, and nobody knew if these would respond well to a bit of self tampering
So i decided to sand them down myself and instead of trying to get a mirror shine, which i wasn't sure i could achieve or manage to preserve through the winter, i decided to go down the painted route. Instead of going for standard silver, i decided to try something a bit different & went to a shop in Glasgow and managed to get an aerosol made up to match my paint colour B83-M. Here's how they turned out:
I think they came up pretty well
Next, i needed tyres for these. So after a bit of wheeler dealing on Ebay, i got 4x Continental Sport Contacts for £150
May need to wait until next month for fitting, as i am skint again
Meantime, i was out on a drive on Saturday & came across the Whitelee Wind Farm near Eaglesham, Glasgow. Very cool place, ideal for few pics, as i had polished the Lude for the last time before winter sets in:
That's all for now
