The mirrors and spoiler are the worst but most of the upward facing panels are noticeably faded. The camera really flatters it.

The roof does look amazing! It seems you have skills about which we need to chat

Looking good Dave.

I had a trawl through my old mags yesterday. I had a clear out a few months back and kept ones with prelude, NSX or buying guides and other helpful stuff. It appears I must've binned the copy with your SC 5th for sale in it. We're talking quite a few years ago now. But I stand by it, £12k someone wanted for this at one point!

I want to hear mine whine.

Thanks - Jack of all trades - master of none! :)

What are you interested in Graham? :)

I painted the headlight housings black in an attempt to make them look a bit smaller!
And also wet sanded/polished the cloudy headlights. :geek:

Thanks for looking Rob. ;)
No guarantees it sold for anything like that but a reflection of the kind of money spent on it back in its day.

More great stuff!! The headlights look so much better. I did it myself as well. I think you are going to have to wrap the wing mirrors of my track car for me ;)

Looking great mate :)

Don't suppose you have any pics of the underside of that wrapped spoiler, do you? Did you manage to wrap it in one piece??

EDIT - ...I mean as in one piece of vinyl, not without smashing the spoiler into manageable chunks!

No worries Merlin. Thet can be arranged.
4th gen mirrors would possibly be easier as the body is one part I think instead of split on the 5th gen.

Yes one piece all the way round!
Well I actually put a few extra strips on a few areas along the join that were particularly stretched and I could see lifting in the near future. But you can't see them unless looking right up and close up.
There were several times I nearly ripped it off and gave up.
The spoiler took near 10 hours for me to do I would estimate.

No pictures of the underside before it was refitted but it might be back off if I wrap the tailgate as well.
Either way I need to remove it to treat a couple of rust spots around the holes that the spoiler bolts through.
