Great vids there Al. nice to see you back out on track.

Awesome stuff Merlin.

Love your vids and you're brave in that weather.

To recalibrate the TPS did you simply use Hondalogger to give you the voltage readings and adjust the TPS on the TB just like a dizzy until idle ran at 0.45-0.47V? As my setup involves a new TB and TPS this is all I found to do. Also check WOT is hitting the right voltage aswell. Think this correlate to a percentage in the software too - 0% (idle) & 100% (WOT)???

Any insight seeing as you've actually done it would be sound. Of course I need a running engine to do it, so won't be adjusting it say...this weekend?

It is very simple. You have to connect to the ECU in live mode. Go to the TPS tab, and when in live mode two calibrate buttons appear next to the min and max TPS values. With the engine off you hit the calibrate min value and the ECU records that value, you press the accelerator down and hit the calibrate max value. Hit save and it is done.

I am pleased to say that since the car only needs a tweak here and there it is ready to be upgraded to full track guise, which will be happening over the new few months. First up it is off to the body shop in early January to have all of the rust chopped out so that the shell is good and then painted. Then it's custom roll cage, race seats, 6 point harnesses, big brake kit, new wheels and tyres, plus a load of other bits like battery relocation and internal & external battery cut off etc....

The pace of the build will be picking up now that the Super Lap Scotland season starts in 4 months time.

Also I need to consider wearing ear plugs or something. No jobby I had sore ears when I got home.

Oh that sounds alot easier!
So you set the calibration in the ECU and it just reads it from the voltage it receives - easy peasy.

Can't wait for all the future updates bud. What are you doing in terms of colour then? Any race inspired goodness going on?

I am going to keep it the same colour as I have done the whole maroon / gold / black combo. I still have my carbon bonnet and bombed wing to go on. I forgot to say about the aero upgrades as well, but we'll see how that one goes

I'm intrigued. Obviously seen your front splitter, what else have you got in store? I've picked up a rear diffuser recently for mine.

A replica Value Sports Type 1 front lip for the carbon splitter to bolt onto and some Azect spats for the rears. I would like to see a pic of the rear splitter. I might just go for chopping most of the rear bumper out.

The front lip used to be on Ammo's car:
