Just another SADLY SOLD Type-S thread :)

Hey folks,
Thought it time after a rocky month or so of owner ship to finally get a thread going for my car. I think some of you may already be familiar with my car, Nitin referred to it as the 'Wes car' when I first mentioned to him what I bought.
Previous to the Type-S I owned a Civic Type-R. I was never really into that car, enjoyed the Vtec engine, but always felt a little too old at 28 for one of those. Then the opportunity to by the Type-S from a friend came up and it seemed perfect. All the enjoyment of a Vtec engine with more mature looks and also the added bonus of it being a very rare model.
A couple of pictures of my car:

Anyways, it was just over a month or so ago now I got the car. My friend I bought it from wanted to keep his wheels so I had to source some. Thankfully Nitin commented on a post I posted on a FB page and hooked me up with his original OEM wheels. Thanks again for that mate
They arrived silver but I had them painted in BMW Sepeng Bronze and finished in a matte lacquer. Came out really nice IMO.

I plan on getting some after market wheels in the near future. But I just wanted to get the car first and so having OEM wheels just seemed like a simple answer as I couldn't and still can't decide on a set of wheels ha.
2 weeks after owning the car, everything was going well until the engine suddenly died on me. Turned out the timing belt tensioner had failed and the timing belt had been eating itself. Luckily, and I have no idea how I managed this, no internal damage was done, so £600, a service and 2 weeks off the road. I finally have my Lude back.
Couldn't be enjoying it more. Bought myself a new rear lip just the other night. Have lots of plans, plenty of time for all that. I'll keep picture updates on here as and when I do bits and bobs.
Thanks for taking the time to read.
