All My Ludes

Post by Rudelude » Wed May 14, 2014 11:25 am

WARNING: BE prepared to to Witness LUDE WORSHIp... :D :)

I know how we all love to look at everything Lude, and I do love all the ludes I have owned over the last 14 years. Ever time I sell one I'm drawn back by another, I guess you can say it's my first love....the special one ;)

LUDE1: Crystal Blue, Type S. (This is where the love affair started) owned for 6 years
Advan exhaust, Aem long arm, methanol injection unit. Camera phones were still rare (early 2000's remember)
, so I don't have any
more shots. But it was at the max power show and also feat in MaxPower, when they did article on uk street racing,
Double page spread along with my mates 2.2 vti in same colour. Lost the mag unfortunately.

LUDE2: Pear White, Type S. Had this 3 years, loved it almost as much as the first one... But your 1st is your 1st :D
Mugen twin loop exhaust and mugen jasmaa manifold

LUDE3: Red 2.2 vti, Lemon Leather interior, W-reg. (standard car)

Lude 4: 2.2 vti motegi, half Leather, t-reg. (crappy power flow exhaust :-) )

LUDE 5: is the lude I bought last month... this one I'll keep for a long time as they are getting so rare in
Immaculate condition, 38,000 miles, fHSH, 14 honda stamps for each year, even MOT was done at Honda.
No rust, no discolouration, no wear or tear... A real beauty for 14 years of age. time warp condition
2.22 vti, 2000 V-reg. Cream Heated Leather.

So I've been Lude loving since the year 2000... Ive not owned them consecutively, but I always get drawn back to them.
Since I sat in my brothers 3rd gen back in 1990, a red 2.0 ex, I've been enchanted.
My missus doesn't quite understand my fascination with them... But hey what does she know.......... Think she is jealous really

Impressive collection there.

I think the lemon yellow interior is a bit of an acquired taste though

Nice. So what brings you back to ludes, when you have the Carrera S there to drive too? Genuine question :)

@bb1boy, lude 3 is def the fave... :-)
@siimport, thanks,I'm glad u look em esp as a fourthie ;)
@WC, yeh it was unusual, but the seats were really high up in the car...don't know why. It was a Dutch car.
@bennyboy, I just love the lude shape, and they r so easy to drive, porkie is nice but not a daily drive.
Heavy gearbox, heavier clutch, not nice in traffic. Too much effort to go to work in.

You have dedication that's for sure - although all the wrong generation! :P

Love the white Type S. 8)

What made #3 your favourite? Was it the colour combo?
