Mine has been going on for 8 months so far.... 6 months of that i was in a hire car.

You've just got to keep pestering them, try to phone at least once a week.
I hope they were paying for the hire car.

Indeed they were. best bit about the hire car was... they had all our details wrong. I told the company that many times that all of mine and my partners details were wrong i lost count. So, i never actually had a hire car. some poor sod did (in there name anyway)
