Curious why are you using an IDE hard drive and not a SATA drive? I would imagine from driving around and vibrations etc the standard drive might not last long with all the bouncing around the back end will do?

Whats the pc running anyway haha?

Great work with the sub box too!! :D :D :D
Simple - it was between 2005 and 2007 when I installed this, and standard mechanical hard drives were all that was available.

Nowadays, I'd of course use an SSD - but nowadays an Android phone does the job better...

The PC was running Windows XP, with my own custom made front end software.

I have kleptomania,
But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

And this, @Gayno... Is why you can't ever break or scrap this lude... Only sell it... :P

Great work Gary and thanks for putting the thread over. I'd tried looking at the thread on PUK before, but the pics weren't working. Great that they now are.
Seen the car so many times, but hadn't realised (from that) exactly all of the work that had gone into it.

What happened to the custom sub and boot floor Gary/Adam? I know the car pc went, but why did they go for a walkie?

Garry removed it all before I bought it.

I built another false floor for when I put a PC, but that has since long gone and boot is now back to standard and I've fitted a wheel sub from Mazda6
