Dc2 is 1060kgs so not that far apart. Plus it has 4 seats and a boot

Was that real cabon fibre u used pal. U c i work with it but it has to go into a big over under vac then comes out hard. Before its all bendy and soft. Was wanting to no was that colling plate like that untill u put the glue stuff on it

Ahh right, gotcha. It's real carbon fibre, but not pre preg so it doesnt have resin in already which gets activated in the oven. It feels a bit like silk but falls apart real easy.

I then mix the resin and compress it into the fibre layup. I've got vac forming kit now but not got an oven big enough to make parts to the standard you're doing

Got rear ended on a round about today;

The boot doesn't close, the bumper is cracked, fog light is broken, mounting point for the bumper above the rear arch is broken, rear boot panel is bent & the spat is broken.

Otherside & their insurance have already admitted full liability and the car is going to a garage for repair tomorrow. So, do we think it'll be written off at that point?
