A1ex's 5th gen - The Filthy LSD Mugeny Beast - Rear ended

Thought it was time I got my profile sorted considering the money I've spent on it!

So I bought my current lude last September, standard UKDM VTi with 92k on the clock and a full honda service history and the standard interior.

The only 'mods' to the car were an aftermarket exhaust with a rattling back box & a spray paint red rocker cover which was sprayed in the engine bay :facepalm:

Anyhow, it look like this but with out the spoiler;

So the first thing I did after getting the car was start putting in the parts I'd been collecting over 3 previous years of ownership so within a couple weeks she looked like this;

About a month after the car purchase a mugen mani, decat and evo 2 zorst came up for sale which I had to have! and this ended up on the car, unfortunately don't have any pics of this :(

A few more things to follow;

The wish list -
Jun cams, Mahle gold pistons, big TB & more PAW tuning ( I want 270bhp :twisted: )

The to make list -
As you all know I'm partial to a bit of CF :lol: a few of the parts on route; mugen spoiler, bonnet spoiler, sunroof plug / complete roof skin. The mugen spoiler is moulded and bonnet spoiler is being done in the next wek or so with a vacuum pump on the way too :)

PAW rebuild :)

So after much saving, planning (thank you Rich) and lab ratting the lude went in for some work;

hondata S300 & p28
type s intake with K&N panel filter
ATR TB, IM, Injectors, head & cams (fully rebuilt head)
Mugen mani
decat
evo2 exhaust

and some ATR brake fitting

and the results;

So, oil pump packs in. PAW & my dad (with some towing) save the day :)

Before this I got some new carpet from slashdot and put an oil pressure gauge in (for obvious reasons);

This took a lot of tinkering to get the air feed path right, but got there in the end

Again, big thank you to LLL for this one. Came over to help change the suspension (did most of the work)including supplying said suspension in exchange for some CF goodness.

Happy owner of some JDM tein basics 8-)

Also put some smaller wheels (still don't know what wheels) on the car to tighten up the gear ratios and lower it a bit further :twisted:

After seeing Rattys spray work on Seans green rocker at JF I had to get one in my engine bay which was looking a mess by comparison. Saw a sexy blue NSX at JF and decide that was the colour for me :)

After some handy spray work from Ratty and some very very very careful nut tightening I had this;

With the before

and after

It looks soooooooo much better!

Also got my home made rad mounts in;

which came in at a 1/10 of the weight of the OEM ones 8-)

Looks much better with those darker wheels 8-)

You keeping your planned CF parts as being visibly CF or painting them? Or do people not paint CF :?

I think some will be painted and some wont. There are sooo many parts I want to make I think the car would look a bit strange being made form ALL CF.

I was staring at the rear arches the other day thinking to myself, they'd be easy to mould, but scared shitless about cutting the old arches out and putting the now ones in :lol:
