Here you go Iain. These are pics I took of mine for Sam a while back...
All pictures taken from the passenger side.
Front (Clamp, Roof Pad and Rack)...
Middle (Clamp and Support Bar)...
Middle with the cap off...
Rear (Roof Pad and Rack)...
The Support Bar has sliding hooks that hook over/into the Front and Rear Pad assemblies, so when you clamp the middle clamp down the Support Bar pulls down on both the Front and Rear Pads.
Front Hook...
Rear Hook (Exactly the same as the Front)...

That's about the clearest description and pics I've ever seen of this setup TBH.
It really is a very good system IMHO, I regularly whack the bikes on top and I have total confidence in it.

I reckon you could even pick the car up with it!

I could've done with those pics last night Nafe!! Took me around an hour to work out how it all fitted together!
The only bit I don't have is the rubber feet to sit in the gutter, but the one's fitted should give stable enough fitment until I can find the correct ones.

I wouldn't worry about not having rubber feet that fit the shape of the gutter tbh... You don't want any weight going onto the gutter trim anyway. It's just a thin strip of stainless, sitting on plastic clips over a void - it wouldn't be capable of taking any load and you just risk breaking the clips, imo.

Yeah, the trim doesn't take any load, it's just a way of locating the pad and retaining it.
