Good news, the prelude passed the MOT with no advisories.

Got a good few clunks coming from the suspension to sort out but that's no biggy. Now working on a few things including my cold air feed through the radiator:

We start out by cutting a section out of the radiator:

And this is how it should look when finished. There will be a bolt on plate with an alloy tube running through it, unfortunately as its hard to judge the exact angle I am getting it bolted in place and can get then get the centre plate made up to bolt in.

Interesting

Is that second pic photoshopped, or have you already rewelded the top hose connection where it is in that pic?

Nothings shopped, just the black bits

I have just rested the upper water connection on the rad like that but that's where it's going to sit.

Been a while since I updated my fabtastic build log, not a huge amount has happened as i've been busy at work but here are the highlights ;)

1. Turns out the numpty's sent me the wrong radiator and it won't fit, must be for a 4th gen or something.. 'why not send it back' I hear you say, well unfortunately I was also a numpty and didn't check it before I cut it up, big doh!
2. Good news is the car has passed the MOT with no advisorys and it doesn't need any trickery to get it through either!
3. The supercharger kit is going up for sale after the next Run What Ya Brung event at Honiton.
4. I have bought and RBC manifold and other parts to return it to N/A and will have a go at tuning myself without the risk that forced induction brings :)
5. I have put a cheeky bid on an Eaton M122 supercharger  Its a 5th gen supercharger and the plan is to run it 1:1 drive ratio which should give me around 12psi after the intercooler.

Its hella fun to get back behind the wheel and mash the throttle pedal, the car is a right laugh to drive!

Edit: My offer has been accepted & I am the proud new owner of an M122 supercharger from a 2010 Shelby Mustang GT500 which has only done 9k miles :D

Are they meant to be the same? Maybe it wasn't even a 4/5th gen rad then and something else entirely!?

  No I meant 4 and 5 of your plans
4 says you're going n/a and then 5 says you're putting on a different supercharger
Hence we're a little confused :D

Ah its Friday... lol

Yea I should explain myself better lol, basically the supercharger is going to be mounted below the inlet manifold and bolted to the block, this will require alternator and waterpump relocation, the plan is to run a front mount intercooler much like a turbo & rotrex setup.

I've also wanted to have a go at road mapping n it's less likely to get damaged if I gentleman's sausage something up when its only running N/A, once that's under the belt I can work on the supercharger setup.
