It is actually a picture of mine, though I can see why you are getting confused, as we both have a 4th gen Prelude.

vanzeps car used to look a little like this before he got the phantom grey paint painted red.

Well the alarm decided to top itself the other week, stranding me in central London.
Two recovery trucks later (basic cover is awesome), the car was back at home.

Had someone come out to look at it today. Basically, the alarm was fudged.
The brain had died, the siren had burnt out, half of the wiring for the alarm had been cut/bypassed, and some of the wires were missing.
The chappy thinks that it was a poor install, and when it went wrong, the previous owner has tried to bypass the alarm, hence the cutting/splicing. Its possible that this is what killed the siren, and may have lead to premature failure of the brain unit.

But all working again now

Well this happened yesterday.....

....so I took the back section off, to stop it causing damage.

I've also decided that this exhaust must've gotten hot, because its made its own cutout

It sounds fantastic now

I also didn't give the car a wash, so it still looks like this
