Sorry to hear it bud. I know the pain of an oil pump fail thankfully I dodged a bullet with it that time.

Cheers Alex. Yeah you don't hear of too many pump failing to be fair. Mine was only on about 100k.

most likely the bottom end is going... well something getting damaged.. big end, bearings.. etc and got sucked through the pump.. this happened to my old h22 and thats why the H22a7 came along ;) 8-)

feel your pain nafe, with regards to internal damage

seems alot of oil pumps fail, Im wondering if I should get mine replaced...

It's a lot of expense to do if you don't actually need it doing, but then can you put a price on piece of mind? ;-) First pump I've had go out of 5 and there's not really many cases of it... Just two quite close together.
