You are not making much using the pro1 cams compared to the type S cams. The website for Skunk claims 20-25hp but you have to take into consideration this is based on the USA 'Base and SH' models. Don't know what power the base and SH models have as standard unfortunately.

Have you checked compression? I'll guess you might have one or more cylinders not burning properly and that's throwing off the tune. Could also be ignition related. How do the plugs look? Any one look different to the others?

Are the cams degree'ed in properly? My JUN cams at zero/zero feel like absolute poo. I'm talking less power than a 1.4 litre engine.

Compression was 235 235 230 230 plugs checked all fine as they have been changed ngk platinum heat rating 6 and it's a type s engine mate it was imported from japan and had the conversion done with a t2w4 gearbox bolted onto it

Cams where played with abit but made no huge differences

The car was running rich on vtec before the tune and had a massive dip, got the dip sorted out slightly but still comes on abit rich which it's ment to go lean in vtec the mapper sorted the fueling out best he could idle is okay but the power isn't there

It sounds like everyone is calling 'bull$hit', but I assure you we're not, we're just trying to get to the bottom of it for you. What is the engine code? (stamped on the fromt of the engine)

I still think who ever sold it to you must have just claimed it was a 'Type-S' engine but it was really a normal standard H22A.. :(

It says h22a and people can say what they want I didn't come on here to see if you can guess my engine I know it's not a normal h22a the pistons are totally different iv had plenty of h22 engines anyway regarding the camshafts if you can help go ahead if not you know what you can do

And if you people are think the h22a type is so high and mighty with 212+bhp your wrong they not all that figure mate got his dynoed and made 195bhp is his car a fake now? I wonder

Well to be honest mate all I'm seeing is h22a not a type a engine blah blah I don't see anything that will help me knowing that I do or don't have the type s engine to late for that now.

How does the graph look? Isn't the max power ment to be much earlier anyone ever had skunk2 pro1 cams in a h22?
